In the second quarter of 2021, Italy's top 5 food and drink apps on a unified platform showcased varied performance trends. Data from Sensor Tower reveals insights into weekly downloads and active users for these leading applications.

Too Good To Go: End Food Waste experienced a notable fluctuation in weekly downloads, peaking at 117K in mid-April and then decreasing to around 47K by the end of June. The app's weekly active users started at approximately 331K at the beginning of April and showed a slight decline, ending the quarter at around 313K.

McDonald’s - Non-US saw its weekly downloads rise from about 29K at the end of March to nearly 50K by the end of June. The active user base for the app also demonstrated growth, beginning the quarter at around 625K and reaching approximately 805K by the end of June.

Deliveroo: Food & Shopping showed a steady pattern in weekly downloads, starting with 32K at the end of March and maintaining around 26K to 27K towards the end of June. Active users for Deliveroo started at nearly 668K at the end of March and concluded the quarter at about 597K.
